Distinctive Holiday Homes has announced the introduction of two new "Ambassadors" for their luxury destination club, Greg Johnson and Scott Dixon, each with ties to other Distinctive Holiday Homes executives.

Greg Johnson
A New Zealand native, where President and Group CEO Nick Wood hails, Johnson's music has been featured on hit television shows like The Hills, Party of Five, and Road Rules. Johnson tours extensively in New Zealand, Europe, and the USA and has toured alongside The Wallflowers and The Exponents.

Scott Dixon
Distinctive Holiday Homes CEO for the Americas and Canada is Stefan Johansson, a former Grand Prix Racer who drove for Ferrari and McLaren for over a decade. The club is now proud to bring in Scott Dixon, who began his racing career in karting, capturing two championships in the New Zealand Formula Vee series. The current IRL Champion and winner of the Indianapolis 500, Dixon is yet another New Zealander joining the DHH family.

The destination club industry is littered with celebrity members, with many coming from the sports world. Some of the notable members throughout the history of the sector include:

The role that these celebrities play varies from club to club and celebrity to celebrity. Steve Young and Doc Rivers have both served as spokespersons for Ultimate Escapes. Andre Agassi's partnership with Exclusive Resorts would help bring a tennis and fitness theme to the world's largest destination club. Other notable names are strictly members behind the scenes who use their respective clubs like any other member.

Destination clubs continually search to expand their reach, and the introduction of Johnson and Dixon to Distinctive Holiday Homes, certainly doesn't hurt that mission. We look forward to learning more about the roles that both will play at the club and how they factor into the future of DHH.
