Intermittent snow showers are predicted for the next week in Colorado, so we are jet-setting off to sunny Arizona for the upcoming week to meet with some of our destination club friends.

During our trip, we plan to meet up with the Exclusive Resorts concierge team that assisted on the club's 100,000th vacation to get an insider's perspective on the service side of the destination club experience.

"Being the first club to reach 100,000 vacations, combined with seven consecutive years of member satisfaction with club travel exceeding 90%, demonstrates Exclusive Resorts' unique scale, success and leadership position within the luxury destination club market," said Exclusive Resorts' CEO Jeff Potter. "We believe we provide more vacations each year – 24,000 in 2009 – than the other destination clubs put together. Although we're excited to have reached this significant milestone, our focus as we look ahead is on making our members' next 100,000 trips even better."

We will also be meeting with The Markers Club, the world's only golf focused destination club, based out of Phoenix. According to CEO Michael Broussard, we will have "lots to cover." We are meeting with the club exactly one year from the day we announced The Markers Club relaunch, a model change from the club where they discontinued the membership deposit component of their club and went to an annual dues only structure. The club has recently announced a new partnership with Destination Cellars and have branched out to also include a retail store and magazine as part of their master brand.

Last but not least on the list, we have been playing phone tag with M Private Residences about getting a tour of their property in Gold Canyon. We'll see if we can manage to sneak our way into the residence, one of two that the club has in the state.

Arizona has long been a popular destination club locale for its sensational golf, mild winter weather, and relaxing spas. Other clubs with properties in the region include:
