Destination Club News Creates Discussion Forum

The destination club industry has entered into a new era. During a recent discussion with one club executive, we were told that questions from prospective members once ranged from "How many properties do you have?" to "How many properties will you have?" Today, after multiple bankruptcies across the sector, discussions are dominated by granular details about a club's debt to equity ratio, how membership deposits are used, and pointed due diligence questions about the club's financial position.

Clubs have adapted to this evolution by encouraging discussion with executives, disclosing audited financial statements, and preaching full and open disclosure with members. We are pleased to announce that we have created a new discussion forum specifically for destination club members, prospective members, and club executives to all converse to better open these lines of communication.

We have reached out to executives at all of the leading destination clubs to encourage participation and now invite you to register, contribute your own perspectives, ask questions to club executives and other posters, and detail your own travel experiences at our new Destination Club News Forum.
