Destination Cellars Hosts Private Wine Dinner in San Francisco

Destination Cellars, the destination club industry's only wine and food themed club, will host a private wine dinner this evening with Domaine Joseph Voillot in San Francisco with winemaker Jean-Pierre Charlot at RN74 at Millenium Tower.

Announced by club founder David Keuhner last week, the exclusive event is limited to just 12 spots. "Only $200 per person for top food and burgundy but only 12 seats available," Keuhner wrote.

Jean-Pierre Charlot took over as the winemaker at Domaine Joseph Voillot in 1995, taking over from his father-in-law, Joseph Voillot. Covering approximately 20 acres over the district of Volnay, Pommard, Meursault, and Beaune in France. Divided into 35 parcels of land, Domaine Joseph Voillot produces 17 different wines.

The always busy Destination Cellars already has established two partnerships within the destination club industry this year, joining the long-time partnership that they procured with Exclusive Resorts in 2008.

While wine tastings and dinners is an excellent medium for a club like Destination Cellars, a host of other destination clubs have used similar events to grow their own clubs. Just last week, Exclusive Resorts hosted a cocktail party at the Great Room at the Arrabelle in Vail Square in Vail, Colorado. Ultimate Escapes and the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club also are well known for their events with members and prospects.

Tonight's Destination Cellars' event begins at 6:30 pm and guests will have the opportunity to "purchase some of the great wines featured" during the evening.

We look forward to reporting more on Destination Cellars and for those in attendance tonight, bon appétit!
