DUO by Quintess Introduces Prelaunch Public Pricing

To date, DUO by Quintess has been working exclusively with referrals from existing Quintess members and the former members of the now bankrupt Ultimate Escapes. A special incentive was even created for members of the latter, allowing them to join at a greatly reduced price point and with the opportunity to receive the membership deposit they lost at their previous club repaid to them. Now the club has unveiled their "pre-public launch membership pricing," good through the end of December with memberships available for as little as $49,000.

Compared to Quintess and their $4 million vacation properties, DUO showcases $2 million homes, a price point that many inquiries have sought over the years according to the club, leading to the creation of the spin-off club. While just launched, members already have access to over 30 destinations through reciprocity into the portfolios of companion clubs Quintess and The PGA Tour Club and the sub-$100,000 price point makes them one of the least expensive options in the destination club industry, a sharp contrast from their predecessor at Quintess which dominates the ultra-luxury segment of the sector.

According to the club, $20 million in investor funds and an additional $25+ million in initial properties have gone into the launch of DUO, bringing in their experience from Quintess. Now the club is full steam ahead recruiting new members cast off from Ultimate Escapes.

DUO conducted a webinar a few short weeks ago and described the success already seen at the young club. One member purchased a 30 night membership plan and upgraded to a 60 night membership plan after visiting the club's residence in New York City, calling from the property.

The new destination club has a planned occupancy rate of between 65% and 75% and DUO members have a special one-time opportunity to purchase 10 nights in Tour Club residences for an additional $12,000 to provide more options. These additional nights can be used through the end of 2012.

On February 1, 2011, DUO by Quintess is scheduled to conclude their charter membership offer and will be doubling the membership deposit price for all club options, ranging from $98,000 for the club's 20 night package to $260,000 for 60 nights of annual travel. We have read communications stating that the current pricing concludes in December. While DUO may be off to a quick start, father club Quintess enjoyed their best sales month in over two years in October.
