By: Destination Club News Date: November 9, 2009
Beginning on December 1, Banyan Tree Private Collection, Asia's first asset backed destination club, will greatly expand their portfolio of luxury villas available to members. As part of the Banyan Tree family, Banyan Tree Private Collection members not only have access to their own villas, but a collection of associate villas that will increase from five to 23 at the beginning of the month.
Created in 2006, Banyan Tree Private Collection has grown to nearly 200 members since their launch and market their product primarily to the quickly growing Asian market, where clubs such as Ultimate Escapes, Exclusive Resorts, and The Hideaways Club have all expressed interest in entering.
"We continuously strive to enhance your BTPC experience and offer you the ultimate in freedom and flexibility so you can truly indulge your love of travel," writes Marina Kleiman, the club's Managing Director. "This latest move has significantly expanded our borders to include 18 additional stunning destination choices for you to enjoy loving vacations with the people that matter the most to you."

When considering destination club membership, the ancillary travel benefits that clubs provide are often quite attractive. For example, members of the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club can exchange nights within the club for tours with Abercrombie & Kent, allowing members the ability to safari in Africa or climb to the base camp of Mount Everest amongst the over 100 countries available to travelers. Quintess and The Oyster Circle's reciprocity partnership announced earlier this year allows members of each club access on a limited basis to the other's collection of vacation properties.
