Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club To Conclude Trial Membership Offer

Near a year ago, the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club introduced one of their most popular promotions: a dues only, two year trial membership offer. Through this unique membership, travelers were able to join the equity destination club without paying the up-front membership fee traditionally associated with membership, instead paying a slight premium on annual dues for two years. At the end of the month, the club will conclude their trial membership and again focus exclusively on selling full equity memberships.

The world's largest equity destination club recently increased their rates by 7% at the end of June, amounting to price changes between $10,000 and $23,000 based on the membership plan selected. Despite the increase, prices for the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club remain well below their original rates, making them one of the more attractive clubs in the sector. The combination of the reduced pricing and trial membership offer led to the club surpassing their 2009 sales volume just months into 2010.

Since the club unveiled their trial membership, the club has announced several exciting news items. In May, the club added 22 European villas to their portfolio and a group of European hotel options.

Those interested in the trial membership still have a week to take advantage of the promotion. For those who enjoy the club experience, a trial member can upgrade to full equity membership status during their two years with the club with the dues premium going towards the purchase price.
