Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club Gives 15 Complimentary Nights To New Members
By: Destination Club News Date: September 13, 2010
For those who missed on the recent conclusion of the club's dues only trial membership offer and reduced equity prices, both of which ended in recent months, the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club is giving new members 15 complimentary nights over their first three years of membership.
Each of the three membership options available will include an extra five nights of annual usage each of the first three years of membership, meaning 15-Night Plan members receive 20 nights, 30-Night Plan members have 35 nights, and 45-Night members can travel 50 nights per year.
Available until December 15, 2010, the complimentary nights are valid at Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club properties only, meaning that the club's collection of European hotels and villas and other adventures through Abercrombie & Kent are not allowed as part of this promotion. Complimentary nights must also be made no more than 90 days in advance of travel.
For those that wish to add the additional five nights onto their membership plan in perpetuity, members can pay an additional contribution of $50,000 on top of their membership fee and $5,700 in annual dues each year.
One of the world's leading equity based destination clubs, the Abercrombie & Kent Residence Club is structured so that members collectively own the club and the club owns the properties available to members free of debt. Ultimate Escapes, the world's second largest destination club, currently is on the brink of collapse, largely as a result of the high debt levels of their residences, proving the merits of Abercrombie & Kent's design.
While new members aren't able to use their 15 additional nights for vacations outside of the club, they can use their base plan nights for a long list of tours, expeditions, and other journeys with Abercrombie & Kent. Earlier this week A&K introduced their 2011 roster of Extreme Adventures, a group of trips that let travelers explore everywhere from the peaks of Mount Everest to conquering the final degree in the South Pole.
Abercrombie & Kent has proudly stated that they have had easily surpassed their 2009 sales figures, a testament to the promotions and incentives introduced throughout the year.
