Moncasa Private Club Residences Annual Dues
Dedicated to providing members with spectacular beach properties, Moncasa Private Club Residences would introduce the Moncasa Caribbean Experience, a destination club about "compelling luxury on notable Caribbean Islands with distinct lifestyle in mind."
The Toronto based destination club would begin their journey near the middle of 2008 and would officially launch to Canadians in September. "We have developed a range of high-end luxury accommodations in a variety of Caribbean countries," said John Collins, President of Moncasa Capital, the holding company of Moncasa Private Club Residences. "Through strategic alliances and a deep knowledge of local markets, Moncasa has been able to develop a collection of multi-million dollar homes, condos and villas. Each residence is of exceptional quality affording residents a lifestyle second to none. We truly are offering luxury, making vacation dreams come true. Further, each club membership deposit reflects an equity share of the real estate portfolio and its appreciation. It’s win-win for vacationers."
Launched during Toronto's Caribbean Week, Moncasa Private Club Residences would introduce membership packages "available from $27,400USD up to $89,000USD depending on the property or number of weeks" and Corporate and Group memberships at "$135,000USD per 6 weeks."
Like the majority of other destination clubs, Moncasa Private Club Residences would have a number of nights per year attached to each membership, but they would also have a "flex plan" to allow members the ability to travel more or less per year depending on the properties they desired.
"For example, if you have a 28 day plan, you could exchange that for 56 days in a smaller property or exchange it for 14 days in a larger property," said Collins. "You can even mix them up if you choose. The Club portfolio consists of four unique property types based on location and size. They are categorized for member's ease of use. So you can utilize some properties for two months, spend four weeks on the beach in the Cayman Islands in another, or perhaps you want a week in a 5,000 square foot villa backing onto the Pete Dye designed Teeth of the Dog golf course in Casa de Campo. Moncasa Private Club Residences can deliver it all in one plan."
Following the club's Canadian launch in September of 2008, no additional information about the club was released, including the annual dues associated to these membership plans."
Looking to fill 52 Founding memberships, it appears that the young club was unable to reach this goal and Moncasa Caribbean Experience has been put on the back burner.
