An early generation destination club, Mirabella Estates would take elements of fractional ownership into the creation of their business model. Members would not only enjoy unlimited access to the club's properties, but also a deeded interest in one of the residences. If a member elected to leave, the club pledged to refund a minimum of 90% of their purchase price and a maximum of 100% of their purchase price, annual dues, and nightly fees.

Prior to fully immersing themselves in the sector, Exclusive Resorts, a rival destination club not yet a year out from purchasing their first property, acquire Mirabella. The assets acquired by Exclusive Resorts not only included properties, but also a combination of various marketing data and statistical tools. Although the details regarding the acquisition were not revealed, the assets of Mirabella Estates were estimated to be roughly $20 million.

While the club did not list any public partnerships prior to their acquisition, Mirabella Estates did strive to work with real estate professionals to help grow their club, going as far as having a page of their website dedicated to that end.
