Legacy Destinations
Resignation and Redemption

Legacy Destinations would have two different sets of members for their elite destination club. Unfortunately, the club was unable to progress to the point where these two membership bases were realized.

To build their portfolio of vacation properties, Legacy Destinations reached out to second home owners and developers who wanted to "leverage their property into something greater." These home owners and developers were asked to contribute their properties to the young destination club in exchange for a complimentary membership in the club, including free initiation fees, annual dues, and nightly fees.

The other group of members were those that joined like any other destination club member, by paying a membership deposit to join and annual dues and nightly fees to continue enjoying the club.

While the overall structure of the club seemed to be completed, the details regarding membership, including pricing, usage, and resignation policies were never published.

Likely, members who contributed a property to the club would have to agree to keep that residence within the portfolio for an agreed upon period of time, at which point they would be able to remove their property at their discretion, losing their membership privileges if they elected to do so.

Members who joined via the more traditional destination club route where a membership deposit was paid is less predictable. The membership deposit paid to join was never published, nor was information regarding how much, if any, was refundable.
