A small destination club that utilized a model where homeowners and developers contributed their residences to the club's portfolio in exchange for a free membership, Legacy Destinations would then sell memberships like any other destination club.
Unfortunately, it seems that the membership aspect was never fully realized, as mebership pricing, annual dues, resignation policies, and other general components of the model were never published, and it appears that the club has ceased operations as emails were bounced back and the club's phone number was directed to a limousine company.
Based upon the model, where the club does not own the real estate, pricing can often be far reduced from other destination club rates. But according to Legacy Destinations, the club would charge a "significant" membership deposit to members looking to buy into the club.
