Legacy Destinations
Members

Legacy Destinations planned to ultimately have two distinct collections of members during the lifetime of their destination club.

The club's business model involved procuring "partnerships with existing homeowners and developers to add properties for a luxury vacation home inventory." This would provide the foundation of the club's property portfolio.

These individuals and developers would receive a free membership in exchange for access to their property. These members would not have to give up the title, equity, or appreciation in the property but simply let other members have access.

While these members would have a free membership and travel access to the club, Legacy would also begin to market their club to outside members. Rather than contributing a property to the club's portfolio, these members would pay a membership deposit, annual dues, and nightly fees, much like many other destination clubs.

According to the club's literature, two homes were available to members, indicating that at least two members were interested enough in the concept to contribute their properties to Legacy Destinations, but the club never managed to progress much past this stage.

As of 2009, the club's phone number is no longer operational and emails have bounced back to the club, suggesting that the club only had a select few members, likely with free memberships.
