Launched in July of 2005, The Leading Residences of the World made one of the most aggressive forays in the destination club field with a portfolio of over 20 properties. The pre-launch collection of properties coupled with an unlimited travel option made The Leading Residences of the World a popular option throughout its Charter Membership phase.

In December of 2006, just a short year and a half after their public launch, The Leading Residences of the Worlds joined with Quintess, who themselves had just merged with Dream Catcher Retreats. Operating as "Quintess, Catch The Dream" prior to the merger with LRW, the new trinity of clubs became Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World.
