Notes From The Club

The product of a combination of The Leading Hotels of the World, Cendant Corporation, and HDMD, The Leading Residences of the World made one of the biggest splashes in the history of the destination club sector. At launch, the club featured more than 20 properties available to members on an unlimited basis.

Officially launched in July of 2005, The Leading Residences of the World got off to a quick start as they sold out of their Charter Membership.

After this initial success, The Leading Residences of the World would face some more difficult times, even going as far as closing their public website and making it a members' only login page.

In December of 2006, The Leading Residences of the World announced that they had merged with Quintess to form th club as it is currently constituted, Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World.

Quintess had just merged with Dream Catcher Retreats, a similarly sized Colorado based destination club, and the trinity of Dream Catcher, Quintess, and LRW established themselves as one of the leading clubs in the industry in terms of both members and properties.

Over 95% of the members of The Leading Residences of the World elected to remain with the new collected club and LRW has been successfully enveloped into the Quintess family since December of 2006.
