When The Leading Residences of the World launched in July of 2005, the club published a "portfolio of more than 20 residences." Members would have unlimited access to the club's properties as well as privileges to accommodations at The Leading Hotels of the World collection.

By December of 2006, The Leading Residences of the World had formally merged with Quintess to form Quintess, The Leading Residences of the World.

Just months prior, Quintess and Dream Catcher Retreats, two similarly sized and Colorado based destination clubs merged to form Quintess, Catch The Dream. With the introduction of The Leading Residences of The World and their near 40 members and a partnership with The Leading Hotels of the World, the collected three clubs instantly cemented themselves as one of the leading destination clubs in the sector in terms of members and residences.

Due in part to their short time in the destination club space and not being in operation since late in 2006, no documents pertaining to the club are currently available.
