Spiraling out of the bankrupt LUSSO Collection, How Fun Resorts sought to continue the destination club experience for former LUSSO members and eventually expand beyond the LUSSO Collection membership base and become a power player within the industry.

Available to former LUSSO Collection members and friends and family, How Fun Resorts' Charter Memberships were available up until April 15, 2009. Members would need to place a good faith escrow deposit of $10,000 by March 15, 2009, and a full dues payment of $30,000 due by the April 15 deadline.

According to the club's overview letter to prospective members, usage was defined as "Unlimited but subject to the reservation policies. These policies are the same as the former LUSSO system and are outlined in the How Fun Resorts Rules and Regulations."

Once the Charter Membership phase concluded, it seemed that Non-Charter Memberships would be available for $395,000.
