Following the bankruptcy announcement of the LUSSO Collection, Bruce Howard, a former LUSSO member, and a group of others began to formulate what was originally conceived as LUSSO 2. To distance themselves from their predecessor and to avoid legal matters, the club was rebranded as How Fun Resorts.

Looking to continue the service and travel experience enjoyed at LUSSO but with a different financial model, How Fun Resorts would plan to enter into a management agreement with The User-Friendly Phone Book, owned in part and operated by Howard.

The club's original message to former LUSSO members described this agreement in greater detail.

"It is the intention of the club to enter into a management agreement with The User-Friendly Phone Book at the formation of the club. User-Friendly is owned, in part, and operated by Bruce Howard who is a Charter Member. User-Friendly has annual revenues of approximately 70 million and roughly 300 employees. The company has access to all of the professional disciplines necessary to operate and manage the club. These disciplines include but are not limited to: Legal, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, and Facilities Management. Besides the corporate office located in The Woodlands Texas, User-Friendly operates 18 remote office locations and does business in 8 states."

"It is the intention of both the Club and User-Friendly, to enter into an agreement that allows for User-Friendly to be compensated for the time and expense of its employees as they work to manage the club. Should User-Friendly decide additional personnel are required to meet the needs of the club, it will identify and hire appropriate staff. Should the Board of Directors identify a better source or method of managing the Club, the management agreement will allow for its cancellation providing a two week notice."

How Fun Resorts would span many functional areas and bring in executives from various levels within The User-Friendly Phone Book.

While the final fate of the club has yet to be determined, at this time it does not look like How Fun Resorts has elected to move forward with their destination club.
