High Country Club Documents
One of the fastest growing destination clubs in the industry, High Country Club's success was largely a by-product of significant discounts on membership deposits and annual dues compared to other leading clubs within the sector.
While these characteristics garnered a great deal of interest and helped High Country Club climb the ranks within the industry, they also proved to be the club's downfall.
As 2008 began and the financial and credit markets began their declines, interest in the industry began to wane. Without the double digit new membership growth per month that the club had experience for years, the club was unable to weather the storm and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
