Havens Resignation and Redemption
Using the growingly popular "then current value" redemption policy, members wishing to resign their Havens' membership received "80% of the current membership fee." Under this model, members are benefitted by the club increasing membership deposit amounts and are paid out from the amount the membership is currently valued at rather than the amount they paid personally paid.
Like many other destination clubs, Havens used a two in, one out strategy that required two new members to join the club to remove one member from the club's resignation list.
Understanding the destination club resignation policies used throughout the sector is often the most uninteresting component of your destination club evaluation, but may be the most important.
