Everlands
Membership Plans

The invitation only Everlands existed at the top of the destination club industry in the ultra-luxury segment and created the Everlands Conservation Prize to further their philanthropic focus. Members were offered unlimited annual travel, but the club had unique takes on usage, membership deposits, and redemption.

Everlands' memberships were planned to ultimately be available for $1 million, but Founding Memberships were offered for $475,000. Unlike virtually every other destination club, Everlands did not require the full up front deposit paid when members joined, but rather 15 percent of the total deposit. Members would then be required to pay the remaining amount due once the club reached the 100 member plateau. This business model allowed the club to rent the residences to non-members to cure the shortfall until they reached that mark.

Once the club reached 100 members, all properties within the portfolio would be made exclusive to members.

Annual dues for club membership were $40,000.

Early in 2009, Everlands suspended new membership sales and marketing efforts and began to search for a home for their members. Ultimately, they would partner with Ultimate Escapes, one of the largest clubs in the sector in terms of members, properties, and destinations. Ultimate Escapes would offer Everlands members preferred membership terms that would "benefit Everlands members as well as all stakeholders in Ultimate Escapes."
