The Emperor's Club Notes From The Club
With high aspirations for their destination club, The Emperor's Club planned to own in excess of 200 meticulously appointed vacation homes averaging between $2.5 and $5 million each, a fleet of private jets, exotic automobiles, and luxurious yachts and motor vehicles.
The club offered three different membership plans, one each for private residences, yachts, and jets, ranging from $285,000 up to $1,750,000.
It appears that the club was never fully able to make headway in the highly competitive shared ownership industry and the site's website soon directed to a single page stating "This account has been suspended" with a note to contact the billing department. Eventually, the page would be populated only with the brief message "Our website is temporarily down for maintenance."
The site remains "temporarily down" and the club likely had few, if any, members before their apparent closure.
