Diamante Residences acquired one property in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. The 7,700 square foot property was to be the first of many flagship residences in the club's portfolio. Unfortunately, the young destination club ceased operations just months after their launching, citing the financial crisis of 2008 as the primary reason.
In additon to the club's Dominican property, Diamante had aggressive plans for their real estate acquisition schedule prior to their closure, identifying multiple properties for the clubs future.
