The ultra-luxury destination club Ciel is largely known throughout the industry for both their exorbitant $1 million price tag to join and for an eleventh hour bid to acquire the assets of the bankrupt Tanner & Haley after a bid from Ultimate Resort had already been accepted.

The invitation only Ciel kept much of their information private, but did release one public press release regarding their intent to purchase Tanner & Haley.

The ultra-luxury Ciel has submitted a cash bid of $108 million, $10 million more than Ultimate Resort, for the assets of Tanner & Haley, citing that Ultimate Resort's bid has some "serious questions."
