Botiga Holiday Access
Originally scheduled to launch in the winter of 2007, Botiga would introduce their London based destination club as "a club owned by its members, for its members."
"We designed a club that is built on personal relationships," the club wrote. "One that allows us to match our ideal service to yours. A club that not only delivers all of the upside of ownership but also removes the management and maintenance that it normally entails."
By the middle of 2008, Botiga said that they were approaching their 20 Founding members goal, but as 2009 drew to a close, the young club elected to halt their momentum.
"With property prices continuing to soften, members have requested that Botiga delays the launch of the portfolio in order to take advantage of what they feel will be better pricing in 2009, and therefore maximise their returns.
"The club has supported this move.
"It is expected that properties will be secured in Spring 2009, to be available for member use for Autumn 2009.
"Membership sales continue to be strong and only a limited number of Founder Memberships remain available. Founder Members benefit from the lowest share price and two years of holidays with the club dues free. In addition, Founder Members pay no performance fee, allowing them to benefit from 100% of the growth in their share price."
No news came from the club at their deadlines and it appears that Botiga likely will not move past their initial launch phase.
Never fully completed, the specifics of membership were never disclosed, including their holiday reservation policies.
