Arcarnus Retreats Resignation and Redemption
A destination club based out of the United Kingdom, Arcarnus Retreats functioned more like a concierge service than the more standard club structure.
As properties were not owned by the club, Arcarnus Retreats would procure accommodations with hotels and resorts on behalf of club members, passing their savings onto members.
Members paid £2,000 to join to receive these concierge services and savings. Like other destination clubs with similar models, this fee was not refundable. If a member no longer wants to use the services of the club, the simply elect not to travel through their membership.
The early generation destination club would fade out of the industry, likely with just a few members.
