In 2003, Rob McGrath entered into a licensing agreement with Abercrombie & Kent that allowed McGrath to market his destination clubs under the 40 year old Abercrombie & Kent brand. From 2003 through 2005, McGrath would continue growing Private Retreats, the industry's first destination club and launch higher priced clubs Distinctive Retreats and Legendary Retreats.

Just as Legendary Retreats was launching, Abercrombie & Kent pulled their brand after several months of non-payment, and Private Retreats, Distinctive Retreats, and Legendary Retreats all were under under the club's new universal brand, Tanner & Haley Destination Clubs.
